Field work
Doing a PhD (where all your field work is) in Morocco & Western Sahara is a challenge. One needs to be careful about the food, the weather, the sun, the roads, the dromedary camels, the speed, the police, the desert, the heat... but I would't change it for any other place in the world (except maybe Australia).
This PhD is giving me the opportunity to work in unexplored areas and show what wonderful intertidal rocky shores exist along this african stretch of coast. And well... that's what I am going to do!
